DL.ART Challenge #175 Frogs or Green

Hello Blogging Buddies,

Today is the start of a new challenge on the DL.ART Thankful Thursday Challenge #175 with a theme of Frogs or Green in honor of this year being a Leap Year!  (You can always substitute a Thank You card for any of the challenges.)

So here is my card for this challenge!  And since it is a Leap Year I wanted to make a Hoppy Birthday card!


Ingredients:

Copic markes
Kraft card stock
Black ink
Tumbled Glass distress ink

For this A2 card I started with Kraft card stock and then I took a piece of Lil' Inker Designs Blue Ombre paper, inked the edges with Tumbled Glass distress ink and added that to the card.  Next I stamped the Great Impressions Happy Frog stamp with black ink onto white neenah paper and then colored it in with Copic markers.  I cut it out using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Oval stackable ovals and added that to the card.  Next I stamped the sentiment from the Newton's Nook Hoppy Days stamp set with black ink.  Lastly I made a bow with some DL.ART Mermaids Tale Third Edition Green Hue ribbon and attached it to the card.  That sweet frog just makes me smile!

    Oh how adorable Lori...I should show this to my daughter...she for some reason is scared of the poor little hoppers. I think your card will make her see the cute side of a froggie!!
