They are predicting 6 to 8 inches of snow today so I had to do a Spring card today! I am entering this card in the House Mouse Monday Challenge: "We are making *FRIENDS* for HMFMC188".
For this 4 3/4 by 6 1/2 inch card I started with plum card stock for the base of the card. Next I cut out the lavender paper using my Spellbinders Heirloom Legacy Card Creator dies. Then I stamped an older House Mouse stamp called "Spring Blossoms" with black ink onto white paper and colored it in using Copic markers. I then used the oval die from the Heirloom Legacy dies and cut it out, inked the edges with lavender distress ink and then added that to the center of the card. While putting the card together I realized that I colored two of the mice ears like flower petals instead of ears. I didn't notice it until I looked very closely at the picture on the back for the wooden stamp, but to me they look like flower petals instead of ears so I left it as is! I don't think it is that noticeable! Do you? Anyway, this card put a smile on my face today!

Well this sure gives the spirits a lift Lori!!! What a beautiful Spring inspired card...yes I think you're right about the ears/petals...I would have thought that they were petals as well!!!! I would have never, ever noticed that a couple of mouse ears were colored like the petals! This is beautiful with beautiful coloring! Love the way you framed them out too. Gorgeous!
