Hello Friends,
Happy Monday!! What a beautiful weekend we had! I hope you had a good weekend too. Today I am going to be sharing another card for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. As you know the Die-Versions Design Team and I are planning a Think Pink Blog Hop tomorrow and we are donating the cards to Fighting Pretty, an organization that helps make past and present breast cancer patients feel beautiful! That is also the reason you have seen so many Breast Cancer Awareness cards on my blog this month. My sister-in-law and my best friend have been touched by breast cancer, so this is a cause that is very close to my heart! I urge you to join us in our Think Pink Blog Hop tomorrow by making an anything goes Breast Cancer Awareness card and link it up to our hop. The winner will receive a $25.00 Gift Card to the Die-Versions on-line store! So I do hope you don't mind all the PINK you have been seeing on my blog this month, but it is for a good cause! And if you know me well, you know I am all about helping a good cause!!
Here is my card for today and I will be entering it in the The Crafting Cafe: October Think Pink Challenge.
For this A2 card I started with pink cardstock for the base of the card and added a piece of pink plaid paper to it. Next I stamped the Cats Pajamas Sock It To Me stamp on white paper and colored it with my Copic Markers, then fussy cut it out and added it to the card. I took my Quickutz ribbon die and some pink paper and added the pink ribbon to the monkeys hand. Next I took the Verve Pink Power stamp set and I used the For the Cure stamp and some pink ink and stamped that on some pink paper and then cut it out using the smallest die in my Spellbinders Nestabilities Timeless Rectangle set and added that to the card. So what do you think? Does it make you smile? That little monkey sure puts a smile on my face!!
Please be sure to check out all the other gorgeous cards over at The Crafting Cafe: October Think Pink Challenge and please be sure to leave some love for the ladies! Who doesn't like to get some good input!!
Don't forget to stop back tomorrow to see what I have created for the DV Think Pink Blog Hop!!
I hope I have inspired you to create something PINK today!
Thanks for stopping by!!
