Here is my first card:
Here is my first card:
For this 6 by 6 inch card I started with an orange cardstock for the base. Next I stamped the Great Impressions Scarecrow & Friends stamp in black ink on some white paper. I colored the Scarecrow and birds in with Copic markers. Next I cut out a bunch of Die-Versions Fall Wee Petites pumpkins in all different shades and prints of orange paper to put in front of the Scarecrow. I also used the Die-Versions Whispers Pumpkin Flourish to cut out all the vines. I also cut out some of the leaves from the Die-Versions Fall Wee Petities die and placed them on the card. I cut out the Die-Versions Happy Fall Y'All Cute Cube twice, once in woodtone paper and once in green paper and pieced it together, I also added the bird from the Die-Versions Fall Wee Petites die to the top of the sign. I used some distress green ink for the grass around the pumpkins and I took some blue distress ink to make the sky, I added some Daisy White ink to the sky to look like clouds. Here is a close up of the Great Impressions Scrarecrow & Friends stamp colored in:
And here is my second card:
For this A2 card I started with some light green cardstock for the base of the card. Next I stamped the Great Impressions Swinging Elf rubber stamp on white paper with black ink and colored it with Copic markers. I used a Copic Spica glitter pen to color the snowflakes on the ornament and then I heat embossed the ornament with clear embossing powder to make it shiny, then I fussy cut out the elf on the ornament. Next I inked the edges of a 4 inch by 5 1/4 inch piece of snowflake paper with green distress ink and added that to the card. Then I cut out the Die-Versions Whispers Holly Branch in green paper and added that to the card. I attached the elf to the holly branch to look like he is swinging on the ornament hanging from the branch. Next I cut out the Die-Versions Sweet Wordlets Tis The Season die in the same green paper as the branch and attached that to the card. Next I took some colored pearls and added them to the branch to look like balls of holly, to the center of the snowflakes on the ornament to give it some dimension and to the end of the elf's cap. So what do you think? Don't these cards just put you in the mood for the Holidays? I know they sure do put me in the mood for the cooler weather and the coming of Fall and Christmas!!
I sure hope I have inspired you to make some fun Fall cards or Christmas cards!
