Two Old Bats November Halloween Challenge

 Hello Ghoul Friends,

Today is the start of a new Halloween Challenge over on the Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge Blog ~ Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge for November.   We have a fun Inspiration Board to help you get started!  We are a year round Halloween Challenge because we are all a bit batty for Spooky cards!  I hope you will join us for this fun Challenge!

Inspiration Board:

Here is my card for the TOB November Challenge:

Ingredients:

FSJ Costumed Cuties Stamps and Die Set
Slimline Frame die
Bat dies
Pumpkin dies
Mice dies
Brown paper
Tan paper
Neenah Solar White paper
Black Spider Web paper
Black paper
Copic markers
Black ink

For this Slimline card I started by make the card base with Tan paper.  I took a piece of Brown paper and the Slimline Frame die and cut out the frame and added it to the card base.  I took the Black
Spider Web paper and filled in the 3 boxes.  I took some Neenah Solar White paper and Black ink and stamped all the critters onto the paper and than colored them in with Copic markers.  I added the critters to the boxes.  I cut out the Pumpkins, Mice and Bats and added them to the card.  I took the White alphabet stickers and added Boo to the card.  I was inspired by the top right photo of the Squirrel all dressed up in his Halloween costume!

Remember, you can create ANYTHING Halloween you would like and our mood boards are here for your inspiration.  You do not have to follow it as the theme, but you certainly can if you would like!!  Don't forget to stop by the Two Old Bats Halloween November Challenge to see all the Spooky cards the Design Team has created!

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. What a cute card Lori. Gosh I haven't done a slimline is ages (not really my favorite style for some reason). But, you've inspired me ... thanks!

  2. Lori, that is one cute card! I love the costumed kitties - especially the mummy-wrapped one as it made me chuckle. I was remembering a story from a friend about coming home to find her kitty all wrapped up in toilet paper that she had strewn through the house!
    Xoxo, Fran
