I happy to announce that I am a Design Team Member on the NEW Two Old Bats Challenge!! It is all about Halloween!! I don't know about you, but I love making Halloween cards! They are actually my favorite card to make!

Our very first challenge will be a JUMP START challenge which will only be 2 weeks long, but after that our challenge will be Monthly beginning on the 2nd of each month and ending on the 28th. Winners will be announced on the 1st of each month prior to the start of the next new challenge!! We will also be posting a mid-month reminder. The theme is ANYTHING HALLOWEEN ~ cards, projects, mixed media, etc.
Here is my card for this first challenge:
Ingredients:
Cottage Cutz Creepy Tree die (no longer available)
Lil' Inker Designs Spooky word die (no longer available)
White card stock
Neenah Solar White paper
Faded Jeans distress oxide
Dusty Concord distress oxide
Black Soot distress oxide
Coordinations Brown paper
Orange paper
Black paper
White paper
For this 5 x 7 inch card I started by making the card base using White card stock. I took a piece of Neenah Solar White paper, my blending brushes and Faded Jeans, Dusty Concord, Black Soot distress oxide and blended them onto the paper. I spritzed the paper with water and then dried it with my heat tool. I took the Quickutz Fence die and some white paper and cut out the gate and added that to the card. I took some Brown and Black paper and the Cottage Cutz Creepy Tree die and cut out the pieces and added that to the card. I took the pumpkin dies from the Sue Wilson Designs Wooded Garden Cart die set and some orange paper and cut them out and added them to the card. I took the Poppystamps Friendly Cat die and Black paper and cut out the cat and added that to the card. I took the Lawn Fawn Stitched Leaves dies and some leftover watercolor paper and cut out the leaves and added them to the card. I took the Lil' Inker Designs Spooky word die and some Black paper and cut out Spooky and added it to the top of the card.
