Momma to Be!

Hello Blogging Friends,

I have a happy card to share with you today!  I heard from my niece that she is expecting so I just had to make a card for her!  I am so happy for her!  Such joyful news.

I am going to enter this card in the Die Cuttin' Diva's Challenge #380 ~ Anything Goes

Here is my card:

Whimsy Celtic Knot die
White card stock
Assorted papers from my stash
Spun Sugar distress ink
Tumbled Glass distress ink

For this A2 card I started with white card stock for the base of the card.  I took some pink paper, the Expectant Mother die and cut it out.  I used some Spun Sugar distress ink to ink the edges and highlight the baby heart and then I added that to the star paper.  I cut that out with the Waffle Flowers Lacy Layers 2 dies and then mounted that onto some aqua paper that I cut out with the next size up Waffle Flower Lacy Layers 2 dies.  I took the light blue paper, inked the edges with Tumbled Glass distress ink and attached that to the base of the card and then I center the other layers on top of that.  I took some green paper and the Whimsy Celtic Knot die and cut it out and tucked it between the layers for some good old Irish luck!!  I am very happy with the way it turned out and I am hoping that my niece will love it when it arrives!

Be sure to hop on over to the Die Cuttin' Diva's Challenge #380 ~ Anything Goes to see what the Design Team have created for this challenge!
