 start of a new Encouragement Squad Challenge!

Why do we have the Encouragement Challenge??  There are a bazillion reasons someone might need a pick me up from going through an illness, relationship woes, working through a big life decision or just feeling a little lonely or unappreciated!  Wouldn't it be nice to have a stash of cards you could send to a friend or loved one who could use a bright spot in their day?  This challenge is here to help you with that!  On the 18th of each month we will start a new challenge with a new inspiration photo.

Ingredients:

CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Hourglass Fri-Die

CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Sands of Time 2 stamp set
Lemoncraft paper
Pink paper
Neenah Solar White paper
Versamark
Rose Gold embossing powder
Peacock Feathers distress ink
Faded Jean distress ink

For this A2 card I started with white card stock for the base of the card.  I took a piece of Lemoncraft paper, inked the edges with Faded Jeans distress ink and attached it to the card base.  I took the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Sands of Time 2 hourglass stamp, Versamark, Neenah Solar White paper and stamped the hourglass onto the paper.  I heat embossed it with Rose Gold embossing powder and then I took the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Hourglass Fri-Die and cut it out.  I took Peacock Feathers distress ink and the hearts from the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Sands of Times 2 stamp set and stamped that in the middle of the Hourglass and then added that to the card.  I took some Faded Jeans distress ink and the sentiments from the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Sands of Time 2 stamp set and stamped them onto the card.  I took the bar part of the Hourglass Fri-Die and cut out some pink paper two times and attached it to the Hourglass.
