Hello Blogging Friends,
It is my turn on the Cheapo Dies Blog today and I made a card with the adorable and EXCLUSIVE Cheapo Dies Dutch Shoe die.
Here is my card:
Ingredients:
Light blue paper
White paper
Navy blue paper
Royal blue paper
Blue patterned paper
White card stock
For this A2 card I started with white card stock for the base of the card. I then cut out the Exclusive Cheapo Dies Dutch Shoe die in both white and navy blue paper. I placed the white shoe onto some light blue paper and inlaid the navy blue pieces. I then mounted that onto some white paper, and then again on some royal blue paper, then onto the blue patterned paper and then on more royal blue paper and added all of those layers to the white card base. I was going for the Dutch Delft look with this shoe!
Hi Lori this is a fantastic card that die is wonderful. Have a great weekend. Take care. Hugs Jackie

A Mermaid's Crafts
Very pretty, Lori! Looks like a true Holland inspiration! Great job, my friend!
ReplyDeleteBoy, does this take me back a few decades. I was an exchange student in England during college and, while there, had time to travel over to Holland for a few long weekends. I fell in love with tulips and Dutch wooden shoes. Thanks for the wonderful memories, Lori. :-D
ReplyDeleteGreat card, Lori! Your imaginative use of die cuts always amazes me! XO
