Calling All Sistahs March Encouragement Challenge

Hello Blogging Friends!!

Well it is the 18th of the month and that means that the Encouragement Squad has a new challenge:

Encouragement Challenge for March!!

Everyone could use a little encouragement from time to time.

There are a bazillion reasons someone might need a pick me up from going though an illness, relationship woes, working though big life decisions or just feeling a little lonely or unappreciated!  Wouldn't it be nice to have a stash of cards you could send to a friend or loved one who could use a bright spot in their day?  This challenge is here to help you with that!  On the 18th of each month we will start a new challenge with a new inspiration photo.
The rules are simple:1.)  Using any products from your stash, make an "encouragement card" inspired by the photo or colors or both!  It's totally your choice!2.)  Link up to the Encouragement Challenge on the CAS-ual Fridays Blog by 12am EST on the 13th3.)  Share with your friends and followers so we can get the word out about our challenge.*so, just what exactly do we mean by an encouragement card??Anything that would brighten someone's day form I'm thinking of you, to sending you hugs to consolation and everything in between!*
One person will win a $25 gift code to use on anything in the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps store.  All products are welcome!  Seriously, use anything you have in your stash, but if you use CAS-ual Fridays stamps or dies on your card, Michele will DOUBLE your prize!!!
Are you ready to see where this month's inspiration will take you??

Here is my card:

Ingredients:

CAS-ual Fridays Scallop Tags die
CAS-ual Fridays Somebunny stamp set
Copic markers
Dried Marigold distress ink
Black ink
Orange and White Bakers Twine
Striped paper
Kraft card stock
Watercolor paper

For this A2 card I started with Kraft card stock for the base of the card.  I took a piece of striped paper, inked the edges with Dried Marigold distress ink and added that to the card.  I took a piece of watercolor paper and the bunny with the balloon from the Somebunny stamp set and stamped it with black ink and then cut it out with the Scallop Tags die, inked the edges with Dried Marigold distress ink and added that to the card.  I stamped the sentiment from the Somebunny stamp set onto white paper, inked the edges with Dried Marigold distress ink and then swished some ink across the label and added that to the card.  I took some Orange and White Bakers Twine and added that to the top of the tag!  This card makes me smile, so I hope it brings a smile to the face of the recipient!

Be sure to stop by the CAS-ual Fridays store to see all the wonderful stamp sets there are to make cards of encouragement with!!  If you decide that there are one or two stamp sets that you just have to have then use this code cas-comfort to get 15% off stamps and dies!!  Thank you Michele, for letting me pass this on to my followers.

Don't forget to stop by the Encouragement Squad post to see all the lovely creations that the Design Team have made.

Now it is your turn to create something for this challenge!!  There will be a prize of a $25 Gift Card to use at CAS-ual Fridays Stamps, that will be doubled if your use CAS-ual Fridays products for your card!!

Thanks for stopping by!!
