Sending Hugs

Hello Blogging Friends!!

I am sharing with you another card that I made for the Cards for Little Hearts Card Drive.

The Cards for Little Hearts Card Drive will run through the month of January.  This is a card drive dedicated to bringing smile, hope and encouragement to Congenital Heart patients.

For this Card Drive you are to make HEART THEMED thinking of you cards.  For more information about Cards for Little Hearts and the 3 different collections, please visit the website:  www.cardsforlittlehearts.com

Here is my card:

Ingredients:

White card stock
Heart paper
Black ink
Copic markers
Black ink
Evergreen bough distress ink
Assorted paper from my stash

For this A2 card I started with white card stock for the base of the card.  I took the heart paper, inked the edges with Evergreen bough distress ink and then added it to the card.  I stamped the Wild Rose Studio Dog with Heart stamp with black ink onto watercolor paper.  I colored the dog with Copic markers and then fussy cut him out and added him to the card.  I took the Winnie and Walter Big Hugs stamp set sentiment and stamped it with black ink onto the pink paper and then added that to the card.  I took a thin strip of blue paper and put that on the left side of the card.

If you would like to join us in making cards for the children with Congenital Heart Disease be sure to check out the Cards for Little Hearts web page to read the mission and guidelines.

Thanks for stopping by!

  3. Oh, Lori, this is so sweet! I love that little pup. Your coloring is fantastic and the paper you chose for the background is wonderful ! I'm so far behind on my visits and comments after being gone for so long over the Christmas holidays that all I can do is apologize for not leaving individual comments on each post and hope you'll forgive. :-D
