Giraffe Hugs

Hello Blogging Friends!!

I am getting an early start on my cards for the Cards for Little Hearts Card Drive that will start in January 2018.  It runs from January 1st to February 1st and the theme is Heart~themed "Thinking of You" cards.  You can read all the guidelines for the cards here

Cards for Little Hearts has a brand new webpage and you can find it here.

Here is my card:

Ingredients:

White card stock
Watercolor paper
Assorted paper from my stash
Black ink
Copic markers
Spun Sugar distress ink

For this A2 card I started with white card stock for the base of the card.  I took the patterned paper, inked the edges with Spun Sugar distress ink and attached that to the card.  I took a strip of pink paper and the Lawn Fawn Stitched Trails die and ran that through my Big Shot and then attached that to the card.  I took some black ink and the Sweet and Sassy Stand Tall stamp set and stamped the Giraffe onto watercolor paper and then colored him in with Copic markers.  I then took the largest Lil' Inker Designs Anytime Tag die and cut out the giraffe, inked the edges with Spun Sugar distress ink, took some black ink and a sentiment from the My Favorite Things Lots of Hugs stamp set and stamped that onto the card and then attached the tag to the card.

Please be sure to stop by the new Cards for Little Hearts web page here!!

Thanks for stopping by!
