Cards for Little Hearts Card Drive

Hello Blogging Friends,

I am getting an early start on my cards for the Cards for Little Hearts Card Drive that will start in January 2018.  It runs from January 1st to February 1st and the them is Heart~themed "Thinking of You" cards.  You can read all the guidelines for the cards here.

Ingredients:

My Creative Time Carved Heart stamp and die set

Avery Elle Love Puffin stamp

Avery Elle Love Puffin die

Scalloped Oval die

Joy Clair Hello Sentiments stamp set

White paper

Heart paper

Watercolor paper

Kraft paper

Copic markers

Black ink

For this A2 card I started with White card stock for the base of the card.  I took a piece of the heart paper, inked the edge black ink and then attached that to the card base.  I took some Watercolor paper and stamped the My Creative Time Carved Heart stamp onto the paper with black ink.  I colored in the heart with Copic Markers and then cut it out withe My Creative Times Carved Heart die.  I inked the edges of the heart with black ink and then attached it to the card.  Next I stamped the Avery Elle Love Puffin stamp with black ink onto some more Watercolor paper and then I colored the Puffins with Copic markers and then cut them out using the Avery Elle Love Puffin die and put that on the side.  Next I took some Kraft paper, black ink and the sentiments from the Joy Clair Hello Sentiments stamps and stamped them onto the Kraft paper.  I then took the Scalloped Oval die and cut the sentiment out and I inked the edges with black ink and added that to the card.  I then took the Puffins and added them to the card.
