Hello Blogging Friends,
Today it is my turn on the Joy Clair Blog and I have a fun card for all the Explorers out there!! I made my card with the Joy Clair Wild & Free stamp set.
For this A2 card I started with Kraft card stock for the base of the card. Then I took the Joy Clair Wild & Free stamp set, some Memento black ink and a piece of watercolor paper and stamped the mountains across the bottom of the paper, then fussy cut it out to make a mask. I then stamped my first set of mountains and then put the mask over the mask over that and stamped more mountains. I colored the mountains with different green and brown Copic markers. I used my inking tool and some Tumbled Glass distress ink and filled in the sky. I then took the sentiment from that same stamp set and stamped that with black ink off to the left hand side of the card. I cut it out using the Gina Marie Designs Big and Little Chain Rectangle die. I inked the edges with Tumbled Glass distress ink and then I mounted that onto some royal blue paper and used the next size up rectangle to cut that out. I took some marbled blue paper, inked the edges with Faded Jeans distress ink and attached that to the card base, then I attached the other papers to the card. I took some yellow paper and the Die-Versions Western Sun die and ran that through my big shot and then attached the sun to the card.
Here is a closer look at my card:
I really love that sentiment about finding the Joy in the Journey!
