Scrapy Land Challenge #70

Hello Blogging Friends,

Guess what??  The Scrapy Land Challenges are ALL going to have the theme "Anything Goes" using any brand of die that Scrapy Land sells.  We want to make it easier for everyone to join in on the fun!!

In addition to the theme always being "Anything Goes", we have TWO WINNERS for each challenge!!  One will be a random winner and the other is chosen by the Design Team.  Each winner will receive a generous $10 Gift Certificate to Scrapy Land.

So now there is no reason not to play along with us!!

Scrapy Land carries over 55 brands of dies, so chances are you have a few of the brands in your stash!  You can see all the brands carried under the Products category.

Please link back to this Scrapy Land Challenge#70 and include the link to this challenge on your blog post.  It would also be extremely helpful if you would list the brands of dies used in your project.  (Sometimes we can't tell if an item is a die cut or chipboard.)

We can't wait to see what you create!  It can be any style you like from CAS to mixed media and everything in between.    Just be sure there's a die cut from a brand that Scrapy Land sells.

Here is my card for this challenge:

Ingredients:

Poppystamps Florisima Trail die
Poppystamps Stitched Butterfly Trio die
Lawn Fawn Stitched Trails die
Die-Versions Make A Wish die
Lemoncraft Gossamer Blue paper
Lemoncraft Just Love Me pink paper
Blue glitter paper
Kraft card stock
Tiny gold gems

For this A2 card I started with Kraft card stock for the base of the card. I took a piece of the Lemoncraft Gossamer Blue paper, inked the edges with blue ink and added that to the card.  I took a piece of Lemoncraft Just Love Me pink paper and the Poppystamps Florisima Trail die and ran that through my Vagabond and then glued that down onto the card.  I took another piece of Lemoncraft Gossamer Blue paper and cut out the butterfly using the Poppystamps Stitched Butterfly Trio die, and I cut out the butterfly with the blue glitter paper.  I placed the three parts of the butterfly together, inked the edges with blue ink and attatched that to the card.  I took more of the blue glitter paper and cut out the Die-Versions Make A Wish die and attached that to the card.  I took the Lawn Fawn Stitched Trails die and ran the card through the Vagabond to get the stitched heart over the Florisima Trail.  I took the tiny gold gems and placed them in the middle of some of the flowers on the pink trail.

Be sure to stop by the Scrapy Land Challenge Blog to see all the wonderful creations that the Design Team have made to inspire you!

  7. How pretty! Your sweet design bespeaks hope and love all together - especially with the butterflies taking flight - they can only do it after being "dormant" in their hope, right? Beautiful sparklies, and a beautiful card, Lori. xx
