Scrapy Land Challenge #68 ~ Embossing (heat or dry)

Hello Blogging Friends,

Today is the start of a new challenge on the Scrapy Land Challenge Blog ~

Scrapy Land Challenge #68 with a theme of Embossing (heat or dry) PLUS use any brand of low profile or steel ruled  die Scrapy Land sells.

We have some exciting news to share!  There will now be TWO Winners for each challenge!!  One will be a random winner and the other will be chosen by the Design Team!

Each winner will receive a $10 gift certificate to go shopping at Scrapy Land!

We will continue to have the Top Three and Honorable Mention.

Here is my card for this challenge:

Ingredients:

Tim Holtz Alterations Collections Texture Fades embossing folder
Blue Core'dinations paper
White Iridescent paper
White fun foam
Aqua Iridescent paper
Kraft card stock
Blue ink

For this A2 card I started with Kraft card stock for the base of the card.  I took some Blue Core'dinations paper and the Tim Holtz Alerations Collections Texture Fades embossing folder and ran it through my Vagabond.  I sanded it a bit with my sanding tool, inked the edges with Blue ink and attached it to the base of the card. I took the Elizabeth Crafts Happy Birthday die and some white fun foam and ran that through my Vagabond.  I took the White Iridescent paper and the Elizabeth Crafts Happy Birthday die and ran that through the Vagabond.  I then glued the White Iridescent paper onto the white fun foam and then attached it to the card.  I took the Die-Versions Butterfly die and some Aqua Iridescent paper and cut out the butterfly and then I cut out the butterfly with the fun foam and glued the paper onto the fun foam and then added the butterfly to the card.  I really love using the fun foam to make the dies stand out!

Here is another shot of the card so you can see the iridescent color of the paper:
