Hello Blogging Friends,
Today it is my turn on the Joy Clair Blog and I have a fun card to share with you that I made using the Joy Clair Music Maker stamp set.
Here is what I made:
For this A2 card I started with a piece of turquoise paper. I then took some white watercolor paper and stamped the different music images from the Joy Clair Music Makers stamp set onto the paper randomly. I used my Deckle Edge Ruler to rip the paper at arbitrary angles and then I used my distress inks to color the paper. For the top square with music notes I used Victorian Velvet distress ink and then I spritzed some water on it and let it dry. For the music score I used Victorian Velvet, Cracked Pistachio, Tumbled Glass and Evergreen Bough distress inks, I also spritzed some water on the paper and let it dry. For the square with the heart and music notes I used Spun Sugar distress ink and then spritzed it too. After the pieces were all dry I startted arranging them onto the card. I cut out the Cheery Lynn Treble Clef die with black shimmer paper and I placed it onto the card. Since the Joy Clair Design Team is featuring Bling for the month of June, I used some Creative Memories shimmery black gem embellishments on my card. I placed three of the small gems onto the bright pink paper and then three bigger gems in the upper left hand corner and three in the lower right hand corner. I love this Joy Clair Music Markers stamp set! You can make such great cards and scrapbook embellishments with it!

Such a fantastic set, Lori, and I LOVE the way you have the music flowing, like a river in those incredible colors! Great use of collage elements, and making the music "feel" like it is in the wind, or in the movement of water - wonderful! hugs, de
