Joy Clair Dad's Day

Hello Blogging Buddies,

Today the Joy Clair Design Team is having a Special Event where the whole Design Team is featuring the Joy Clair Dad's Day stamp set.

I have two cards to share with you using this stamp set.

Here is my first card:

Ingredients:

Joy Clair Dad's Day stamp set

Quickutz Cookie Cutter Golf die
Wood grain card stock

White card stock

Assorted papers from my stash

Black ink
Green ink

For this A2 card I started with white card stock for the base of the care.  I took a piece of wood grain paper, inked the edges with black ink and then added it to the card.  I took some more white paper and my Joy Clair Dad's Day stamp set and some black ink and stamped the sentiment onto the paper and cut it out using a banner die, inked the edges with green ink and added that to the top left part of the card.  Next I cut out all the different pieced to the Golf die set with paper scraps, pieced it together and added it to the card!  A perfect card for any "Golfing Dad's"!

Here is my second card, for this card I also used the Joy Clair God's Army stamp set:

Ingredients:

Joy Clair God's Army stamp set
VersaMark
Brown ink
Kraft card stock
Authentic Rugged paper pack
Emerald Creek Charred Gold embossing powder


For this A2 card I started with Kraft card stock for the base of the card.  I took a piece of plaid paper from the Authentic Rugged paper pack, inked the edges with brown ink and attached that to the card.  I stamped the sentiment from the Joy Clair Dad's Day stamp set with VersaMark onto some Kraft card stock and then heat embossed it with the Charred Gold embossing powder. I cut that out with nesting die, inked the edges with brown ink and attached that to a piece of blue paper and then cut that out with the next size up nesting die and then added all of that to the card. I stamped the boots from the Joy Clair God's Army stamp set with VersaMark onto some Kraft paper and then heat embossed it with the Charred Gold embossing powder.  I fussy cut the boots out and attached them to the bottom of the card.  This card would be great for any Dad who works in construction!
