Joy Clair Mother's Day

**This is one of two posts that I have today.  If you are looking for the Calling All Sistahs Reminder Post, please go here.**

Hello Blogging Friends,

Joy Clair is having a Special Mother's Day Event!  I have two cards to share with you that I made with the Joy Clair Mother's Day stamp set.  One is serious and one is silly!

Here is my first card:

 Ingredients:

Joy Clair Mother's Day stamp set
Die-Versions Whispers Elegant Border die
DL.ART Red Crinkle Ribbon from the Rainbow Bundle
Basic Grey Little Black Dress paper
Kraft card stock
White paper
Versa mark
Black embossing powder
Black ink

For this A2 card I started with a piece of Kraft card stock, I then took a piece of Basic Grey Little Black Dress paper and cut that down to 4 inches by 5 1/4 inches, inked the edges with black ink and attached that to the base of the card.  I stamped the teapot from the Joy Clair Mother's Day stamp set with Versa mark onto some white paper and then I heat embossed it with black embossing powder and then I fussy cut it out.  I took some more white paper and the Die-Versiosn Whispers Elegant Border die and ran that thru my Vagabond and I glued that onto the card to look like a shelf on the wall.  I glued the teapot on top of the shelf.  I stamped the sentiment with black ink onto white paper and cut it out with an older die that I have and inked the edges with black ink and then attached that to the card next to the teapot.  I took a red pen and colored in the berries on the teapot and filled in Mother with the pen too.  I took some DL.ART Red Crinkle Ribbon and glued that around the top of the card and then with some more ribbon I made a bow and attached that to the card.

Here is my second card:

Ingredients:

Old Quickutz Tag die
CM Grass Border Maker
Assorted paper from my stash
Brown ink
Copic markers

For this A2 card I started with White card stock for the base of the card.  I added some Blue Marble paper for the sky.  I took several scraps of green paper and cut out the grass using my Creative Memories Grass Border Maker.  I layered the grass on top of the blue sky.  Then I took some brown ink and stamped the poop emoji stamp and sentiment from the Joy Clair Mother's Day stamp set onto some white paper. I used some Copic markers to color the image and then I used the old Quickutz Tag die and cut it out and I used two Emerald Creek Heart Brads to attached it to the card.  I cut out the Lawn Fawn Spring Showers sun and clouds dies and added them to the card.
