Hello Blogging Friends,
Today is the start of the Joy Clair April Challenge!
The theme for this month is: Shapes, Any Shape!
Here is the photo inspiration for the Joy Clair April Challenge:
For my card I choose Ovals as my shapes.
Here is my card:
Ingredients:
Wood grain embossing folder
Quickutz Birds Nest Die
Kraft card stock
Assorted papers from my stash
Kraft card stock
Assorted papers from my stash
Egg punch
Brown ink
Black ink
For this A2 card I started with Kraft card stock for the base of my card. Then I took a piece of Brown Core'dinations paper and ran it through my Vagabond with the wood grain embossing folder and then I added it to my card. I took some tan paper and the Quickutz Birds Nest die and cut out, I inked the edges with brown ink and used a brown maker to highlight the cuts on the nest die. Next I took some light blue paper and my Egg punch and punched out two eggs. I took one of the splatters from the Joy Clair Uh Oh Ink Splatter stamp set and stamped the eggs with brown ink, inked the edges of the eggs with the same ink and then I placed the eggs into the nest and glued that down to the card. I took the sentiments from the newly released Joy Clair Hello Sentiments stamp set and some black ink and stamped some more Kraft paper, then I cut out the sentiment with a shaped die and I inked the edges with brown ink and added that to my card.
