Scrapy Land Challenge #62

Hello Blogging Friends,

Today is the start of the Scrapy Land Challenge #62

The theme for this challenge is

Favorite Holiday ~

  Plus use any brand of low profile or steel ruled die Scrapy Land sells. 

(It can be any holiday that is celebrated throughout the year.)

My favorite holiday is Easter!  It is the rebirth of everything!  I love to see all the flowers and grass coming up and the birds coming back to our yard.  So I made an Easter card:

Ingredients:

Impression Obsession Bunny die

Die-Versions Whispers Straw Basket die

Lawn Fawn Spring Showers die

Avery Elle Party Bunny stamp set

Egg punch

CM Grass Border punch

Assorted papers from my stash

For this A2 Easter card I started with white card stock for the base of the card.  I cut a piece of the blue marble paper and attached that to the card.  Next I took some green paper and cut out the grass using my CM Grass border punch and then I attached the grass to the card. I cut out the Die-Versions Straw Basket twice, once with green paper and once with pink paper.  I inlaid the green pieces in the basket.  I cut out some eggs with my egg punch and different color papers and put them inside the basket and attached that to the card. I cut out the Impressions Obsessions Bunny dies and added them to the card.  Next I cut out the Lawn Fawn Spring Showers cloud dies and added them to the card.  I took the Avery Elle Party Bunny stamp set and stamped Hoppy Easter with black ink onto the card.
