Joy Clair We Make a Perfect Pear

Hello Blogging Friends,

Today it is my turn on the Joy Clair Blog and I am going to share with you a card I made with the Joy Clair Funny Foods stamp set.  This is such a fun stamp set, you can make so many great cards with this stamp set!

Here is my card:

Ingredients:

Joy Clair Funny Foods stamp set
Lil' Inker Designs Stitched Mats Rectangle

paper
Watercolor pencils
Watercolor paper
Black ink
Lime green ink

For this A2 card I started with white card stock for the base of the card.  Then I cut the top and bottom border of pears off the patterned paper.  I took the pink paper, inked the edges with lime green ink and attached to the the base of the card.  Next I took the borders from the paper, inked the edges with lime green ink and attached them to the top and bottom for the card.  I took the Joy Clair Funny Foods stamp set and stamped the pears with black ink, next to each other like they are holding hands, onto watercolor paper.  I colored the pears with my watercolor pencil and then took a slightly wet brush and painted over the pears to even out and mix the colors.  I then took the Lil' Inker Designs Stitched Mats Rectangle and cut out the pears.  I inked the edges with lime green ink and added that to the card.  I took the sentiment from the Joy Clair Funny Foods stamp set and stamped that with black ink onto some white paper and then I cut it out with a smaller stitched mat, inked the edges with lime green ink and added that to the card.
