Today is the start of the Joy Clair My Redeemer Blog Hop
PLUS we have a fun game for you to play for a chance at winning a $25 Gift Card to the Joy Clair Store!
Here is how you can play along with us!!
Each of the stops on the Joy Clair My Redeemer Blog Hop will have a key word in their post. You will get the key word from each post and put it together into a sentence. Then you will e-mail the sentence to me at ~ mulchlady@aol.com with the subject title My Redeemer in the e-mail subject line by March 19th ~ then a random winner will be picked from the correct answers and the winner will be announced on the last day of the month on the Joy Clair Blog.
So why not play along with us!
For my project I used these Joy Clair stamp sets:
Ingredients:
Quickutz Cloud border die
Black ink
Spun Sugar distress ink
Evergreen Bough distress ink
Stormy Sky distress ink
Milled Lavender distress ink
Tumbled Glass distress ink
Squeezed Lemonade distress ink
Mustard Seed distress ink
Copic markers

For my project I decided to make a scrapbook page and journal about a difficult time that I went through where I almost lost my husband. To me, it was a miracle that he lived through this and a hallelujah moment for me!
For my page I started by stamping hallelujah and the sun at the top of my page with black ink. I took some Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed distress inks and my blending tool and made the sun. Then I started making a rainbow across the top of my page (because a rainbow is a promise from God) by using my blending tool and some distress inks. I used a curved template to create each of the different colors of the rainbow. Next I took the Quickutz Cloud border die and some white paper and I cut out the clouds and added that to the page. Then I took the Joy Clair In God's Time stamp set and some black ink and I stamped the hour glass, time heals sentiment and the Saved by Love sentiment onto the page. I colored in the hour glass and the sand with Copic markers. Then, to get all that I wanted to say on my page, I did my journaling on the computer and printed it out onto some paper and added that to the page.

I think it is important to document our thankful moments so that we realize what we have and don't take the important loved ones in our lives for granted!
