Sock Monkey Card for the Hug a Heart Card Drive

Hello Blogging Friends,

Today I have this cute Sock Monkey card to share with you that I made for the Hug a Heart Card Drive.

Ingredients:

Cats Pajamas Sock It To Me stamp set

Cats Pajamas Heart Swirl die

Assorted papers from my stash

Copic markers

Brown ink

Black ink

For this card I started out with white card stock for the base of the card, then I took the gingham paper, inked the edges with brown ink and added it to the card.  I stamped the Cats Pajamas Sock It To Me Sock Monkey with black ink onto some white paper.  I colored the Sock Monkey with Copic markers, fussy cut him out and then added him to the card after tucking a red heart under his one arm.  I took some brown ink and stamped HUGS from the same stamp set onto the card.  I cut out some red paper with the Cats Pajama Heart Swirl die and added that to the top of the card.  This Sock Monkey makes me smile!
