Hello Blogging Friends,
Today I have this cute owl who is sending a hug to some child at the Heart Center at Nationwide Children's Hospital during February for American Heart Month.
You can read all about this card drive for children in the Cardiac Unit on Christina Hor's Blog
Assorted paper from my stash
Creative Memories Heart Punch
Sending a hug stamp
Picked Raspberry distress ink
For this card I started with white card stock for the base of the card. I then took a piece of the chevron paper, inked the edges with Picked Raspberry distress ink and added that to the card. I stamped the Kaisercraft Owl stamp with black ink onto some watercolor paper and colored it in with Copic markers, then I cut it out using the Gina Marie Designs Pierced Fancy Nested Labels smallest die, inked the edges with Spun Sugar distress ink and attached that to some hot pink paper. I then cut out the hot pink paper with the next size up Gina Marie Designs Pierced Fancy Nested Label die and added that to the card. I stamped the sentiment with black ink and then cut it out with an older die that I have, not sure who made it, inked the edges with Picked Raspberry distress ink and added tht to the card. I punched out a small heart using a Creative Memories heart punch, inked the edges and added that to the card.
We will have a Hug a Heart Blog Hop on February 1st!!
