Hello Bosom Buddies,
Today is the 17th of the month and that means that today is the start of the:
January Calling All Sistahs Blog Hop
This is a blog hop sponsored by CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and Pretty Pink Posh!
Pretty Pink Posh has made a special sequin collection called Sistahood Sparkle especially for this hop and to help us support Breast Cancer Awareness, this collection is exclusively available at CAS-ual Fridays Stamps in the Calling All Sistahs Collection! Michele, the owner of CAS-ual Fridays Stamps, will be donating 50% of the profits, just as she does with the other items in the Calling All Sistahs collection, to NBCF.org. Quantities are limited and once they are gone....they are gone!!
You should have gotten here from Melissa Miller's Blog.
If not you can always start over at CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Blog.
Here is my card:
Ingredients:
Pretty Pink Posh Pink Sequins
Watercolor paper
Picked Raspberry distress ink
Salt
For this A2 card I started with white card stock for the base of the card. I took a piece of watercolor paper and sprayed it with water, then I inked it with Picked Raspberry distress ink and I sprinkled some coarse salt over it and let it dry. Once it was dry I rubbed off the salt and I die cut the paper with my Gina Marie Wonky Stitches frame and added it to the card. Next I die cut the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Ruffled Ribbon die with some pink polka dot paper and attached that to the center of the card. I took some Pretty Pink Posh sequins and placed a sequin on top of eacg polka dot. Then I cut out some shimmer paper with the CAS-ual Fridays Hope Fri-Die and added that to the card. I took some Silver Pretty Pink Posh sequins and added them to the card.
