A Few More Cards for the 2017 Hug a Heart Card Drive

Hello Blogging Buddies,

I am back again today with a few more cards for the

Hug a Heart Card Drive for Children

You can read all about this card drive  on Christina Hor's Blog.  And we would love it if you would join us in making some cards too!

Here is my first card:

Ingredients:

Assorted paper from my stash
Picked Raspberry distress ink
Copic markers

For this card I started with white card stock for the base of the card, I then added some of the heart paper to the card.  I cut out some pink paper with the Memory Box Stitched Hearts Layers die, inked the edges with Picked Raspberry distress ink and attached it to the card.  I cut out some black paper with the Simon Says Stamps Sending die and added that to the heart.  I took the DINO word from the Joy Clair Dino Love stamp set and stamped it with black ink onto the heart.  Next I took the HUGS stamp from the Joy Clair Candy Hearts stamp set and stamped that with black ink under DINO.  Next I stamped the dinosaurs from the Joy Clair Dino Love stamp set with black ink onto some white water color paper, colored them with Copic markers and then fussy cut them out and added them to the card.

Here is my next card:

Ingredients:

Memory Box Stitched Hearts Layered die
Die-Versions Curly Words hugs die
Buggy Designs by Emma Button Bear (no longer available)
Assorted paper from my stash
Black ink
Brown ink

For this card I started with white card stock for the base of the card, I added the red heart paper after inking the edges with black ink.  I cut out some pink paper using the Memory Box Stitched Hearts Layered die.  I cut out some brown paper with the Buggy Designs by Emma Button Bear, I used some brown ink on the edges and then attached Button Bear to the heart so it looks like he is peeking over the top of the hear and I added that to the card.  I took some dark pink paper and cut it out with the Die-Versions Curly Words hugs die and added that to the card.

Here is my last card for today:

Ingredients:

Scalloped Square die
Assorted paper from my stash
Copic markers
Spun Sugar distress ink
Black ink

For this card I started with white card stock for the base of the card and then I added the printed paper.  I stamped the Unity Stamps You Otter Be stamp with black ink onto some white paper and colored it with Copic markers and then cut it out with the Scalloped Square die, inked the edges with Spun Sugar distress ink and added it to the card.  Next I took some darker pink paper and cut it out with the Die-Versions Curly Words hugs die and added that to the card.
