Hello Blogging Friends,
Today is the start of the Joy Clair November Challenge.
Here is the November Challenge Photo
Theme: Traditonal and Non-Traditional Colors for Christmas.
Here is my card for this challenge:
Ingredients:
VersaMark
Seafoam Embossing Powder
Watercolor pencils
Various papers from my stash
Stickles
Tumbled Glass distress ink
Black ink
Black ink
For this A2 card I started with white card stock for the base of the card. Next I took the snowflake paper, inked the edges with Tumbled Glass distress ink and attached it to the base of the card. I stamped the snowmen from the Joy Clair Cozy Snowmen Wishes stamp set with black ink onto white paper and colored them with watercolor pencils, fussy cut them out and added them to the card. Then I cut out some white paper with the Spellbinders Scalloped Borders Two die and added that to the bottom of my card. I cut out the Joy Crafts Christmas Ice Crystal Border die with white paper, placed it on the top edge of my card and then used some Crystal Stickles to give it the icy look. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Joy Clair Cozy Snowmen Wishes stamp set with Versamark onto some white paper and heat embossed it with some Seafoam embossing powder and then cut it out using the Inspired by Stamping Fancy Labels 2 die, inked the edges with Tumbled Glass distress ink and added that to the card.
