Christmas Cards and Tags made with Joy Clair Stamp Sets

Hello Blogging Friends,

Today it is my turn on the Joy Clair Blog and I have some Christmas Cards and Tags to share with you today that I made using Joy Clair stamps.

For this A2 card I started with white card stock for the base of the card.  I took a piece of watercolor paper and I stamped the manger image from the Joy Clair Away in the Manager stamp set with black ink and then colored it in with watercolor pencils.  Next I stamped the North Star from that same stamp set with Versamark and then heat embossed it with gold embossing powder.  I then took the sentiment from the Joy Clair A Child is Born stamp set  and stamped it with Versamark and then heat embossed it with Black embossing powder.  Then I took some Tumbled Glass distress ink and some water and colored the back ground.  When that was dry I distressed the edges and added it to the white card base.

For this A2 card I started with white card stock and added some Christmas patterned paper.  Next I cut out the Quickutz ornament with red and black plaid paper and added that to the card.  I then cut out some green paper with the Gina Marie Pine Needle die and placed that over the ornament to make it look like it is hanging on the tree.  I then took the sentiment from the Joy Clair Holly Jolly Santa stamp set and stamped it with Versamark and then heat embossed it with white embossing powder on some red paper which I then cut it out with the Inspired by Stamping Fancy Labels 2 die and placed that in the middle of the ornament.

For this A2 card I started with white card stock, then I took another piece of white paper and embossed it with a snowflake embossing folder and added that to the card.  I took my Inspired by Stamping Fancy Labels 2 die and cut out some white paper and then I stamped the Merry Christmas sentiment from the Joy Clair Holly Jolly Santa stamp set with Versamark and then heat embossed it with black embossing powder and then I mounted that on some black snowflake paper that I cut out with the next size up Inspired by Stamping Fancy Labels 2 die and added it to the card.  I took some red and white bakers twine and wrapped that around the card and tied the snowflake charm onto that.

For this Kraft tag I used the elf from the Joy Clair Holly Jolly Santa stamp set  and stamped that with black ink and then colored it in with Copic markers.  I stamped the Ho Ho Ho from the same stamp set with black ink.  I then stamped the border with the Joy Clair Christmas Border stamp set with black ink  around the edge of the tag and I filled in the stars with a gold pen.  I added the ribbon and it is ready for a present!

For this Kraft tag I stamped the Merry Christmas sentiment from the Joy Clair Holly Jolly Santa stamp set with Versamark and then heat embossed it with Charred Gold embossing powder.  I then took the reindeer border from the Joy Clair Christmas Border stamp set and stamped that with Versamark onto the Kraft tag and then heat embossed that with more of the Charred Gold embossing powder.  I then took my white pen and added white dots all around it and I added the gold ribbon to the top and it is all ready for a present too!

I hope I have inspired you to create something fun today!

Thanks for stopping by!
