Hello Blogging Buddies,
I have been asked to join the Joy Clair Design Teams as a Guest Designer for the month of September! Today I will be participating in the Joy Clair September Blog Hop with their New Release stamp sets!
You should have arrived here from LeeAnn's Blog.
If you should get lost along the way you can always go to the Joy Clair September Blog Hop and start over.
Here are the new Joy Clair September Stamps:
Aren't they amazing! And just in time for Halloween and Thanksgiving!
For the September Joy Clair Blog Hop I have picked the Spooky Greetings stamp set to use for my card!!
Spooky Greetings
Here is my card using the Spooky Greetings stamp set:
Ingredients:
Cottage Cutz Witch Legs die (no longer available)
Cottage Cutz Filigree Bat die (no longer available)
Sparkle N Sprinkle Copper Flame embossing powder
Black ink
Weathered Wood distress ink
Various papers from my stash
For this A2 card I started with white card stock for the base of the card. I then took a piece of Halloween words paper and cut it to 4" by 5 1/4", inked the edges with black ink and attached it to the base of the card. Next I cut out the Cottage Cutz Witch Legs die with 4 different shades of Shimmer paper, pieced them together and added them to the top of the card. Next I took the sentiment from the Spooky Greetings stamp set and stamped it with Versamark onto some white paper. I then heat embossed it with Copper Flame embossing powder, cut the fish tail end of the banner and rubbed some Weathered Wood distress ink over the whole tag and inked the edges with black ink and added it to the card. Next I cut out the Cottage Cutz Filigree Bat with some black shimmer paper, added some small green gems for the bats eyes and added it to the card.
Be sure to check out all the wonderful creations the Design Team have come up with!!
