Hello Coffee Lovers!!
Today I am posting again as a Guest Designer for Joy Clair for the month of September! Joy Clair is playing along with the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! Joy Clair is a Super Sponsor for the first time and you have a chance to win a gift card to spend at the Joy Clair store.
Joy Clair has several stamp sets, a bible journaling line called "Color by Faith" and custom stamps. Stop over and check their blog and see what the design team has created.
Here is my card:
Ingredients:
Burlap
Assorted papers from my stash
VersaMark
Brown embossing powder
Clear embossing powder
Tattered Rose distress ink
Fired Brick distress ink
Squeezed Lemonade distress ink
Crushed Olive distress ink
Tea Dye distress ink
For this 5 x 7 inch card I started with white card stock for the base of the card. Next I took a piece of brown Core'dinations paper and ran it thru my Vagabond with a Darice Stripe Background embossing folder and I distressed the edges and added that to the base of the card. I stamped the Fall Time Festival stamps from the Joy Clair Fall Time planner stamp set with VersaMark and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I then took some distress inks and rubbed them on the paper and then cut it out with the Lil' Inker Designs Stitched Mats: Square die and placed that on a piece of burlap and then attached it to the card. Next I stamped the Hot Cocoa stamp with VersaMark onto white paper and heat embossed it with brown ink. I cut it out with the next size down square mat die and then I inked the paper with Tattered Rose distress ink, inked the edges with Tea Dye distress ink and then put it on some burlap and attached it to the card. Next I cut out some reddish brown paper with the Lil' Inker All About Ampersand die and attached that to the card. Lastly, I inked the edges of the card with brown ink.
