K is for Kindness

Hello Blogging Buddies,

Today I am sharing with you a card that I am entering in the Alphabet Challenge Blog and the theme is:

 K is for Kindness

Here is my card:

Ingredients:

So Suzy Stamps Blowing Butterfly Tree stamp
Hero Arts Acts of Kindness stamp
Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Cardstock
White cardstock
Peeled Paint distress ink
Tumbled Glass distress ink
Broken China distress ink
Black ink
VersaMark
Black embossing powder

For this A2 card I started with white card stock for the base of the card, then I took a piece of Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Cardstock and stamped the So Suzy Stamps Blowing Butterfly Tree stamp with VersaMark onto it.  Then I heat embossed it with black embossing powder.  Next I took Peeled Paint distress ink and watercolored that onto the bottom part of the card.  Then I took Tumbled Glass and Broken China distress ink and watercolored that onto the top of the card.  When that was dry I took my Hero Arts Acts of Kindess stamp and stamped that on the left hand top corner with black ink.  I then inked the edges with Broken China distress ink and then attached that to the base of the card.

Be sure to stop by the Alphabet Challenge Blog to see what their Designers have created for the K is for Kindness challenge.  Why not play along too!

I hope I have inspired you to make something pretty today!

Thanks for stopping by,
Lori
