Hello Blogging Buddies,
Today is the start of a new challenge on the DL.ART Challenge Blog.
The challenge is the July Linky Challenge ~ Anything Goes or a Thank-You card.
Here is my card for this challenge:
Here is my card for this challenge:
Ingredients:
Versamark
Black Embossing Powder
Distress inks
For this A2 card I started with yellow card stock for the base of the card. I stamped the Skipping Stones Designs "I'd Pick You" flower stamp with Versamark and heat embossed it with black embossing powder and then fussy cut it out and attached it to the yellow paper. I then added that to the green paper, and then the yellow print paper, another piece of green paper and then attached it to the card base. Next I took the Skipping Stones Designs "Cancer Schmancer" small butterfly stamp and stamped that onto some white paper with Versamark and then heat embossed it with black embossing powder, fussy cut it out and added it to the flower. Then I took shiny yellow paper and cut it out using the My Creative Times Mini Butterfly die and added that to the card. Next I took the DL.ART Primrose Crinkle Ribbon and wrapped that around my card and made a bow for the top left corner.
Now it is your turn to create something for the DL.ART Linky Challenge!

ReplyDeleteOoooooh, Lori! Beautiful flower, and such softness with the gentle yellow ribbon on the side. I especially enjoy your layers of matting, and the use of patterned paper in the matting. I never think of doing that, and it really dresses a card up. Please help me remember to use my PP that way! LOL That's your new job, Lori. LOL Thank you for inspiring me today! Hope you are enjoying the beginning of a great week-end! hugs, de
