DL.ART Challenge #182 Red, White & Blue

Today is the start of a new DL.ART Thankful Thursday Challenge on the DL.ART Challenge Blog.

DL.ART Challenge #182 Red, White & Blue  ( or you always substitute a Thank You card).

Here is my card for this challenge:

Ingredients:

DL.ART Patriotic Bundle ~ Red,White and Royal Blue Crinkle ribbon

Die-Versions Whispers Statue of Liberty die

Serendipity Stamps Celebrate die

Lil' Inker Designs Stitched Mats: Rectangles

Various papers from my stash

For this 5 x 7 inch card I started with red card stock for the base of the card.  I cut out the Die-Versions Whispers Statue of Liberty die with some green distress paper, I sanded it and then rubbed some gold ink over it very lightly.  Next I a placed the Statue of Liberty on the red, white and blue paper and cut it out using a Lil' Inker Designs Stitched Mat rectangle die.  I then placed that rectangle on the red paper with the white stars and cut that out with the next size up Lil' Inker Designs Stitched Mats rectangle die, then I placed that on the navy blue paper with the fireworks and cut that out with the next larger Lil' Inker Designs Stitched Mat rectangle die and placed that on the red base of the card.  I then cut out the Serendipity Stamps Celebrate die twice, once in navy blue and once in red with white stars paper and placed that on the right corner of the card.  Next I took DL.ART Patriotic Bundle with the royal blue ribbon and made a bow with the red, white and blue crinkle ribbons and added the bow to the top left corner of the card.
