Scrapy Land Challenge #42 ~ Lots of Layers

Hello Blogging Peeps!

Today is the start of a new challenge on the Scrapy Land Challenge Blog!

Scrapy Land Challenge #42  ~ Lots of Layers
plus use any brand of low profile or steel ruled die that Scrapy Land sells

Scrapy Land has over 40 brands of dies.  You can see them all here.   Please link your project back to this Scrapy Land Challenge Blog.  It would also be extremely helpful if you would list the brands of dies used in your project.

Here is my card for the Scrapy Land Challenge #42 ~ Lots of Layers:

Ingredients:

For this A2 card I started with white card stock for the base of the card.  I took a piece of pink patterned paper, inked the edges with Victorian Velvet distress ink and added that to the base of the card.  Next I took the green polka dot paper and tore off the corners and then distressed all the edges with a distress tool and then I added that to the card.  Next I took some white paper and cut out the Prima Parisian Lace die and added that to the card.  Next I cut out Memory Box Stitched Heart die and placed that on top of the doily.  Then I cut out the Penny Black Soft caress die in pink and green papger and then pieced it together and placed that on the card.  I cut out some green paper with the Poppystamps Weeping Willow Branch die and added that to the card,  Next I cut out the Taylored Expressions Banner Stacklets die several times, layered them together and inked the edges with Victorian Velvet distress ink and added that to the card.  I cut out the Penny Black enjoy die with the pink paper and with white fun foam, layered it together and then placed it on the banner. I cut out the Tattered Lace Fern die with the same green paper and added that to the card.  So what do you think?  Did I manage to get enough layers on this card?  This was a real challenge for me since I don't usually put a lot of layers on my cards.  But I am really happy with the way that it turned out!

Be sure to stop by the Scrapy Land Challenge Blog to see all the awesome projects the Design Team have created!  Then it is your turn to create something for the challenge and maybe you will be the lucky winner of a $15.00 gift certificate to the Scrapy Land Store. The challenge closes on Sunday, May 29th.

I hope I have inspired you to create something fun today!

Thanks for stopping by!
Lori
