Reflecitons of a Swan

Hello Blogging Buddies,

Today it is my turn on the Die-Versions Blog and here is what I am sharing on that post.

Today I am sharing with you a card I made with the new Whispers Swan die and the new Curly Words Cheers die.  For this 5 inch by 7 inch card I started with royal blue card stock for the base of the card.  Next I added some blue marble paper for the sky, then I took a piece of distress paper and colored it with my gelatos and attached that to the card.  I cut out the Whispers Swan die twice in white paper, I colored the beak with Copic marker honey and black marker and attached them to the card to look like the swan and her reflection on the pond.  I took some of the same royal blue card stock and cut out the Curly Words Cheers die and added that to the bottom of the card.

I hope I have inspired you to create something beautiful today!

  1. oooooooh, Lori! What a beautiful die cut - and so gorgeously doe with the colored beak and eye. But more... I would never have thought of creating a reflection! You're always so fantastically putting colors and dies together in new and creative ways, and this one REALLY shines for the swan's beauty while demonstrating your imaginative magic.

Thanks for your sweet comments on my blog this morning, and for joining me in the early morning walk around my home! hugs, de
