DL.ART Challenge #176 ~ Easter

Hello Blogging Buddies,

Today is the start of a new Thankful Thursday Challenge at DL.ART.

The theme is Easter or you can always make a Thank You card.

Here is my card for DL.ART Challenge #176:

Ingredients:

Kraft card stock
My Creative Time Hello Chickie! stamps and die set
Impression Obsession Grass Border die
Sizzix Grass die
DL.ART Mermaids Tale Third Edition Orange Green Hue ribbon
Tattered Rose Distress Ink
Assorted paper from my stash

For this A2 card I started with Kraft card stock for the base, then I took the piece of striped paper, inked the edges with Tattered Rose distress ink and attached that to the base.  Next I cut out the egg, inked the edges and placed it on the card.  I cut out the chickie, the basket, the tall grass and the cracked egg and placed them on the card. Next I cut out some green paper using the Sizzix grass die and added that to the card. Then I cut out the small eggs in various paper scraps and added them to the card.  Lastly I took some of my DL.ART Mermaids Tale Third Edition Orange Green Hue ribbon and made the bow and attached that to the card.  So what do you think?  Does this say I am ready for Easter?
