Happy National Cocoa Day!! I think we should celebrate Hot Cocoa more then once a year, don't you? I have a Hot Chocolate card to share with you on the 3rd day of the 2015 Winter/Holiday Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!
Ingredients:
White card stock
Bazzill Basics Brightly Shining paper
Quickutz tag die
Black ink
Red ink
Red, green and white Bakers Twine
For this A2 card I started with white card stock for the base, then I added the Bazzill Basics Brightly Shining paper after inking the edges with black ink. Next I cut out the tag using an old Quickutz Tag die, I inked the edges with red ink and stamped the sentiment using the Verve Stamps Chocolate stamp set, colored in the cocoa mug with Copic markers, tied the red, green and white Bakers Twine on it and attached it to the card. Then I cut out the Sizzlit Cocoa die in white paper, colored the mug with Copic markers, cut out the Die-Versions Wee Petites Snow Flurries die and added one of the snow flake to the cup and then I placed that on the card. So did you have some Hot Cocoa today??
Please be sure to stop by the 2015 Winter/Holiday Coffee Lovers Blog Hop to see all the wonderful creations or to join in on the fun, there are lots of prizes to be won!

Beautiful! That's a lot of love! Happy Cocoa Day!
ReplyDeleteLove the layering of the card...the bottom paper looks like a doily or some kind of material...but from your blog I believe it is paper? Very lovely card.
ReplyDeleteYummy!!!! Not only the hot cocoa but also your wonderful card. Love the black backing on this one. It really makes the colors pop.
