Hello Blogging Buddies,
Today I have a Pocket Letter that I made for my facebook friend Debra to share with you! We just became facebook friends this year thru our mutual addiction to the Coffee Lovers Blog Hops!! Debra told me about Pocket Letters and we decided to create one for each other with a Christmas Theme!
Since I had never really done a Pocket Letter before I wasn't sure how to get started, I had many different ideas of what I was going to do, but in the end I decided to cut out a bunch of Christmas dies I have and make a Pocket Letter with them all so that Debra can use them for either Christmas cards next year or for a Christmas layout in her scrapbook.
Here is my Pocket Letter I made for Debra:
Ingredients:
Various Stampin' Up Christmas Paper
Various Bakers Twine
Quickutz Reindeer die
Memory Box Everlawn Bells
Here is the other side of the Pocket Letter. This side photographed a little on the dark side, but you still get the idea of what it looks like.
Ingredients:
Green Close To My Heart Christmas Paper from several years ago
Various colored paper from my stash
After I got finished filling all the little spaces up I got it ready to ship out to Debra.
I cut out the Die-Versions Whispers Winter Wonderland die and added that with my tag and some pretty ribbon and then mailed it off to her. Funny thing is that I mailed it Priority Mail on December 21st and it was supposed to arrive to her on Christmas Eve, but the post office had a different idea for my package and instead mailed to some place in Lancaster, PA. so it didn't actually get to Debra until December 28th!! But at least it arrived in tack!
To read about the beautiful Pocket Letter that Debra sent to me go here to her blog. I absolutely LOVE mine and I am so glad that I got to meet Debra and become friends with her! I hope you enjoyed reading about our Pocket Letters to each other and feel free to comment on both of our posts!
