Celebrate

Hello Blogging Buddies,

I am here today with another Christmas card for the Caring Hearts Card Drive!

For this A2 card I started with white card stock for the base, next I took a piece of Bo Bunny paper from the Altitude Collection 6 x 6 inch pad, I inked the edges with Tumbled Glass distress ink and added that to the base.  Next I took my Serendipity Stamps Penguins stamp and stamped it with black ink onto white paper and I colored it in with my Copic markes and a glitter pen.  I cut it out using my Lawn Fawn Stitched oval die, inked the edges with more of the Tumbled Glass distress ink and added that to the card.  Then I cut out some silver glitter paper using my Serendipity Stamps Celebrate die and I added that over the penguin oval.  Next I took a white snowflake button and pop-dotted that to the card and I made a bow with DL.Art's Mermaids Tail Silvery Hue Sea ribbon and placed that on the card.  So are you getting chilly?  I know I am just by looking at those sweet penguins standing on the ice.

I would like to enter this card in the Serendipity Stamps Challenge #49 Happy Holidays.

I will be mailing this card to Caring Hearts Card Drive along with the other Christmas cards I have been making.
This is the 6th year that Vera Yates and Jennifer McGuire   have been collecting handmade Christmas cards to give to those that live in nursing homes.  Caring Hearts Card Drive is all about bringing joy and holiday cheer to the elderly that are often quite lonely.  This card drive will be going on from October 3 to November 27, 2015.  All Christmas cards must be delivered before November 27th.

I  hope I have inspired you to create a Christmas card today for the Caring Hearts Card Drive to bring some joy to someone living in a nursing home.

Don't forget to stop by the Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog to see all the wonderful creations that have been made specifically for this challenge.

Thanks for stopping by!!
