Hello Blogging Buddies,
I am here today with another Christmas card for Caring Hearts Card Drive.
I will be getting all my Christmas cards together in the next day or so, that way I can get them to the post office so they make it to their destination on time!!
For the above A2 card I started with kraft card stock, I added the patterned paper to the base of the card after inking the edges with Tea Dye distress ink. Next I cut out my My Favorite Things Die-namics Ride the Wave die with red paper and placed that in the middle of the card. Then I cut out the Lawn Fawn Stitched ovals die with some green paper. Lastly I cut out my Cottage Cutz Celebrate the Season die with some red shimmer paper and added that to the green stitched oval and added that to the center of the card. That is is! A very quick card!
I will be mailing this card to Caring Hearts Card Drive along with the other Christmas cards I have been making.
This is the 6th year that Vera Yates and Jennifer McGuire have been collecting handmade Christmas cards to give to those that live in nursing homes. Caring Hearts Card Drive is all about bringing joy and holiday cheer to the elderly that are often quite lonely. This card drive will be going on from October 3 to November 27, 2015. All Christmas cards must be delivered before November 27th.
I hope I have inspired you to create a Christmas card today for the Caring Hearts Card Drive to bring some joy to someone living in a nursing home.
