Special Friend Blend

Hello Friends,
Today I would like to share with you a card I made for the Always Playing With Paper Challenge:  The Challenge  #39 ~ An Inspiration Challenge.  Here is the picture that was posted as inspiration for this Challenge:

And here is my card:

For this card I started with white card stock for the base of the card.  Next I added soft black chalkboard paper.  Then I cut out the tea pot with my Paper Sweeties Tea for Two Bundle tea pot die and stamped it with the coordinating stamp.  Next I cut out the My Favorite Things Die-Namics Formal Flourish die with white paper and attached that to the top of the of the chalkboard.  I used my Lil' Inker Designs Perky Posies dies and cut it out with some pink paper and added that to the top of the tea pot.  Then I stamped the Special Friend Blend sentiment that came in the Paper Sweeties Tea for Two Bundle with Versa mark and heat embossed it using white embossing powder.  Next I added the Paper Sweeties Sugar Sprinkles sequins to the flourish and the flower on the tea pot.

I hope I have inspired you to create something fun today!  Don't forget to go over to the Always Playing With Paper Blog and seee all the beautiful creations that were made for Challenge #39 ~ An Inspiration Challenge.

Thanks for stopping by!!

  6. What a sweet card, Lori! Tender and friendly - and oh so inviting. The white scroll die cut and bright blue tea pot are very dramatic against your black background. I'm sorry about not visiting as often as I'd like these days. Thanks for understanding. hugs, de
