Happy Flag Day!!

In honor of Flag Day today I wanted to share with you a card I made using my new Die-Versions Whispers "Independence Kids":

For this A2 card I started with navy blue card stock for the base of the card, then I took a piece of flag paper, inked the edges with Distress Ink Blue Jeans and and added it to the base of the card.  Next I took my Independence Kids die and ran it through my Vagabond with some black shimmer paper.  I cut out the flag parts using red, white and blue and added them to the flags.  Then I stamped the sentiment from Taylored Expressions Stars & Stripes stamp set with Versamark and I heat embossed it with white embossing powder on a piece of blue paper and added that to the card.
