With All My Heart

Hello Peeps,

Every month Our Daily Bread Designs hosts a challenge for Operations Write Home.  If they get 50 or more cards linked up to the challenge by the end of that month, they will sponsor the shipping of two boxes of cards for our deployed heroes.  Thanks to Our Daily Bread Designs for providing a fun way to help get cards mailed to our troops so they can stay in touch with their loved ones back home! So it's a new month and a new ODBD Challenge for March and the theme for the Our Daily Bread Designs March Challenge is Sentiments ~ make a card using a sentiment as the main focus on the card.  For my card I used the Heidi Swapp "With All My Heart" sentiment stamp.

For this A2 card I started with magenta card stock for the base of the card.  Next I took a piece of Tim Holtz watercolor paper and heat embossed the sentiment onto the paper using Versa mark and white embossing powder.  Next I took some of the Tim Holtz Distress Inks and stamped and rubbed them on the paper and then I spritzed it with water to get the water color effect.  Once it dried I took my Spellbinder A2 Deive Eleoquence die and cut it out and added that to the base of the card.  Next I took my Memory Box Stitched Heart Layers and I used the smallest heart to cut out some pink paper and then I added the heart to the card.  So what do you think?  I love the water color background!

I hope I have inspired you to create something fun today!  Don't forget to go over to the ODBD March Challenge to see what the other cards makers have made for OWH.

Thanks for stopping by!
Lori
