Hello My Friends,
Happy Labor Day!! I hope everyone is enjoying the last bits of summer!! Today I am going to share with you a card that I made for the Seredipity Stamps Challenge Blog, the theme for this challenge is Missing You!!
And here is my card:
For this A2 card I started with blue cardstock for the base of the card. Next I cut out a 4 inch by 5 1/4 inch piece of mint green patterned paper and added that to the card. Next I stamped the Serendipity Stamps Sundial stamp with Versamark on white watercolor paper. I used some white embossing powder and heat embossed it, then I took some distress inks and rubbed them over the stamped image and then I spritzed it with water and let it dry. Next I took a Spellbinder die and cut out the image and added that to the card. I stamped the I miss you sentiment with Versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder and then I added the distress ink and spritzed with water and let it dry and then punched it out with a heart punch and added that to the card. I just love the watercolor effect that that this technique created.
I hope I have inspired you to create something beautiful today!! Don't forget to stop by the SSCB#34 ~ I Miss You challenge board to see all the other wonderful creations!
Thanks for stopping by!!
