It is Sketch Challenge Sunday over at OWH!! And I here is my card I made for the OWH Sketch Challenge #234:
:
Here is Sketch #234:
I really love playing along with these sketches! It always gets me to try something new and today I tried stamping the image so that part of it would be off the die cut. In the picture below you will see how the tip of the butterflies wing is off the top of the die cut square:
For this card I used one of the Lil' Inker Designs Stitched Mat Squares dies to cut out the butterfly image and I colored the image with copic markers. I really like the look it gives to the card with the wing partial off the white square.
Don't forget to go and see all the other wonderful cards in this challenge here. And please remember to leave some love for the ones that you really like! Everyone loves to read the comments on their cards!
I hope I have inspired you to create something beautiful today!
Thanks for stopping by!
Lori
Beautiful colors!
ReplyDeleteWonderful card and I love your out of the box technique used on the butterfly wing. So pretty.
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love the image and I love, love, love the color combination!
ReplyDeleteLove the look of the image coming off the die edge, thank you for sharing. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Lori, and take on the sketch. Love how you have the wing outside the square.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea to stamp outside the die -- adds even more interest to an already lovely card!
