Today is my youngest daugter, Jenna, 19th Birthday!! I can't believe that 19 years ago today I was in the hospital holding my precious daughter!! Time sure flies when you are having fun!! Here is a Birthday Card that I made for her:
For this 5 x 7 inch card I started with hot pink cardstock for the base of the card. Next I stamped the single geranium sprig from the Sparkle N Sprinkle Geranium Stamp set onto Copic Blending paper and then I colored it with Copic markers. Next I cut it out using the Spellbinder Timeless Rectangle and then attached that to the card. Next I cut out the Die-Versions Happy Birthday wordlets and then I took my glitter pen and went over the Happy Birthday with it to add a bit of bling. What do you think? Will a 19 year old like this card? Probably not, since it isn't hip, but I thought a little bit of elegance was in store for my beautiful 19 year old daughter!! I hope she has a wonderful birthday!!
