I am back from my Scrapper's Anonymous Getaway weekend! And it was great! This was my fifth year of going to the SAG weekend in Ocean City, NJ. It is so much fun to get together with good friends and scrap about our families and friends that we love so much! To me scrapbooking is the ultimate gift I can give to my girls in the future. They may not appreciate it now, but someday in the future they will look at these pictures and remember how truly blessed we are as a family! And it is always fun to reminisce about good times and share our funny family stories with friends!! We stayed at The Flanders Hotel and the food was amazing!! If you have never been on a scrapbooking retreat and you love to scrapbook then I highly recommend that you try it sometime!!
I know I promised to post on Monday, but I was a bit tired from staying up late and decided I would wait until today to share with you one of the pages I made of my older daughter Julie when she was 4 1/2 years old!
And here is a close up of the adorable Die-Versions "Hello" Sweet Frames that I used on this page:
I love how this "Hello" Sweet Frame really makes that one picture of Julie pop!! She was such a cutie with her long blonde hair!! Oh how I miss those younger years!!
Well I hope I have inspired you to scrap some of your older pictures and re-live those younger years and to take a chance and try a Scrapbook Retreat sometime!!
If you have any comments or questions, please post them in the comments session and I will get back to you as soon as I can!
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Scrapping!!
Lori
