DL.ART Thankful Thursday Challenge #183 "Summertime"

Hello Blogging Buddies,

**(This one of two posts that I have today, if you are looking for the Craft Rocket Challenge post please go here.)**

Today is the start of a new DL.ART Thankful Thursday Challenge #183 "Summertime".  I don't know about you but I always think about the beach when summer rolls around!  So I created a beach card for this challenge:

Ingredients:

Stampin Up "By the Seashore" stamp set (retired)
Versamark
White embossing powder
Black embossing powder
Brown ink
Flip Flop charm
Various papers from my stash

For this A2 card I started with white card stock for the base.  I took some sand paper, inked the edges with brown ink and added it to the card.  I cut out the Reverse Confetti Sand Dollar die with white paper, I cut the center part out twice to add some dimension and placed it on the card.  I stamped the Stampin Up shell stamps with Versamark and then heat embossed them with white embossing powder, then I fussy cut them out and arranged them on the card.  I stamped the sentiment with Versamark and then heat embossed it with black embossing powder.  I took some of the DL.ART Brown & White Twine and wrapped it around the card several times and then tied the flip flop charm to the twine.

Now it is your turn to create something for the DL.ART Thankful Thursday Challenge #183 "Summertime"!  Be sure to check out all the creations that the Designers have made for inspiration!

Thanks for stopping by!
Lori
