Scrapy Land Challenge Blog #2

Hello My Friends,

Wow!  We had 72 enteries in our 1st Challenge on the new Scrapy Land Challenge Blog!!  Let's see if we can't reach 100 enteries for our 2nd Challenge!!  Today is the start of Challenge #2 on the Scrapy Land Challenge Blog and the challenge is to make a project using heat embossing.  Here is my card for challenge #2:

For this A2 card I started with kraft cardstock and added a 4 inch by 5 1/4 inch piece of inked edges blue patterned paper to the base.  Next I cut out the Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish in green paper and covered that in Versamark and sprinkled Sparkle N Sprinkles clear embossing powder over it and heat embossed it and added it to the card.  Then I cut out the Magnolia DooHickeys Doily Flower in white paper, covered them with Versamark and then added the Sparkle N Sprinkle Native American Embossing powder to the small petals and heat embossed.  For the larger petals I covered them in Versamark and added the Sparkle N Sprinkle Nautical Embossing Powder and heat embossed.  I used pink button brads to attach the flowers to the card.  Next I cut out the Paper Smooches Hello die in green paper, applied Versamark, then the Sparkle N Sprinkle clear embossing powder and then heat embossed that and added it to the card.

I hope you like my Embossing Challenge project!!  And I can't wait to see what you create for the Scrapy Land Challenge Blog using heat embossing!!  Once again, I double dog dare you to create something....a card, a layout, a tag, anything using heat embossing!!  It is fun!!  Please feel free to leave some love on all the Design Team members blogs!!

I hope I have inspired you to create something spectacular today!!

Thanks for stopping by!
